Het bijzondere van dit trio is, dat naast de prachtige driestemmige vocalen, de begeleiding bestaat uit een zangeres, een gitarist en zeer verrassende percussionist (waar dit meestal twee gitaren zijn).<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"voorstelling_tekst\" class=\"editable\">\n<p>Het Trio Son Cubano speelt, naast eigen composities, het traditionele \u00a0Cubaanse repertoire, zoals veel stukken van de Buena Vista Social Club.<\/p>\n<p>Met \u00a0Delia Gonz\u00e1lez op leadzang en handpercussie, \u00a0Jesus Hern\u00e1ndez \u00a0op gitaar en zang en Leticia Bal op percussie en zang maakt het Trio Son Cubano complete, weergaloos swingende Cubaanse muziek met een heerlijke live-uitstraling.<\/p>\n<p>Delia Gonzalez \u00a0heeft ruime ervaring met tal van professionele bands\u00a0in Cuba. Sinds haar komst naar Nederland zong ze met oa Nueva Manteca, Saoco, Grupo Tumbao, Las siete Potencias en al 15 jaar met Leticia y su Rumbadama.<\/p>\n<p>Jesus Hernandez speelde In Nederland \u00a0met\u00a0zo\u2019n beetje alle top-latin formaties en hij doceerde aan het Conservatorium van Rotterdam. Naast \u00a0gitarist, bassist en vocalist is Jesus een veel gevraagde componist en arrangeur.<\/p>\n<p>Leticia Bal stond in de jaren 80, als een van de eerste vrouwelijke percussionistes, op de podia in Nederland en Duitsland met tal van afro &#8211; en latin bands.
