Highlights of the 2014 CGR are the Scottish Debuts of the Swedish Guitarist Composer Johannes Möller and the French virtuoso Gabriel Bianco. Both Johannes and Gabriel are first prize winners of the illustrious GFA International Competition and are artists of the very highest level. festival director is Matthew McAllister.
As always CGR presents a very international and hugely experienced Teaching Team alongside a wonderfully diverse Concert Series. This year is no different featuring performances and classes by Johannes Möller, Gabriel Bianco, Allan Neave, Vladislav Bláha, Gabriel Guillén and Peter Stewart alongside chamber music workshops from Aisling Agnew and Guitar Duo Coaching from the Amadeus Guitar Duo.

Location: The Isle of Cumbrae is easily reached from Largs by making a short 10-minute ferry trip. There are excellent transport connections to Largs from Glasgow and its environs. Largs is around an hour by road, rail, car or bus from Glasgow city centre, Glasgow International and Glasgow Prestwick airports.
