Guitar Concerto Competition & Festival

Whilst many feared that classical guitar is turning into a peripheral instrument in the Netherlands, DGF moulded a place for the biggest guitar happening in the country-Guitar Concerto Competition & Festival. The success of the 1st edition was unimaginable: nationwide guitar lovers packed the halls of every concert; competitors and students coming from more then 20 countries joined the Festival and most generous host families offered them all a home-it was a remarkable triumph of the guitar community! The 2nd Guitar Concerto Competition & Festival resumes where we have left off last year: creating new “golden times of the guitar” today, by organising the most thrilling, inspiring and possibly the coolest Festival in the country. Join us again between 10th – 16th of February for a week full of guitar, orchestra, competition, GuitarEXPO…and all the things you love about guitar!
